What installation involves

Installation jobs range from a single wall unit to a full multi-split system with one outdoor condenser and several indoor fan coils.

Quotes depend on piping length, whether old trunking can be reused, access to the outdoor ledge and whether hacking or electrical work is needed.

For HDB flats and condos, check any rules on where the outdoor unit can sit and ask whether the installer is handling the dismantling and disposal of the old unit.

Among the 61 companies on this page, the brands named most often are Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Panasonic, Midea, LG.

What affects the price

We don't publish prices because they vary by company and change often. The things that move a quote for this job are: the type of unit (wall-mounted, ceiling cassette or ducted), how many units are done in one visit, how dirty the unit is, access to the outdoor condenser, and whether parts or gas are needed. Ask each company for a written quote for your exact units.
